In-Season DL Rules
Your team will be allowed 10 disabled-list spots for your team. That way if someone gets injured you will be allowed to call up a minor league player or pick up a free-agent player.
However, once that player comes off the DL in real life, you will have 48 hours to take him off your DL. If you do not, he will be put on waivers where other teams will have the right to claim that player. Under this circumstance, you also will be able to claim that player using your waiver claim. If someone with a higher waiver claim claims the player, they will be awarded the player. If no one claims the player, they will be sent to your minor league roster.
All players on the DL list will still count against your cap.
In order for a player to go through waivers, they need to be on your MLB roster. Minor league players do not go through waivers. Therefore, minor league players CAN NOT be on your Disabled List.
Players that are suspended are NOT eligible to be placed on the DL.
Off-season DL Rules
Starting with the 2018 season, you will be allowed to place a player on the DL even though they are not on the DL in real life if there is a reliable source (MLB, Rotoworld, Fantrax, etc) that shows the player has a long term injury. This will only be allowed before the start of the season, in September when real life rosters expand, or if the player is not on the real life 25 man roster.
Fantrax Flags:
Red Flag: Player is injured but not on the DL. Not DL eligible in our league either.
Red Flag w/white cross: Player is officially on the DL, and is eligible to be placed on DL in our league.
