For the inaugural draft, you will draft the teams and their rosters will be as of the final day of the regular MLB season.
There will be a committee of 3 owners who will decide the value of each player. Each GM can decide the length of the contract for those players. They will have the salary associated with value of the player and length of the contract.
The 3 members are: John (idolatro15@gmail.com), Nicholas (Rivoluzione4099@aol.com), Tyler (tbraves13@aol.com)
Any questions can be directed at any 3 of these members. For FA players that are on these owners teams, the other 2 members will decide the value.
The maximum length can be up to 4 years. If you offer a player a contract beyond 2 years, their salary for those years will increase. For players over $5M value, it will increase by $2M. For players having a value lower than $5M, it will increase by $1M.
Here are two examples:
Player X has a value of $10M. The GM signs him to a 4 year contract. Year 1/2: $10M, Year 3/4: $12M
Player ABC has a value of $3.5M. The GM signs him to a 3 year contract. Year 1/2: $3.5M, Year 3: $4.5M

This will also apply to players who are in arbitration this year and have passed the 3 year limit. This means that they have played 3 years AFTER they crossed the threshold of 150ab/50ip.
