Approved...when you call him up...his first year will be 600k...not 500k...salary won't decrease

"Players between 501K-750K have the option of taking the 3 year contract max or reassigning them a rookie contract (3 or 4 year deal)" So if he reassigns him to a 4 year deal then is it 600k, 1.25M, 1.75M, 2.25M?

That would be correct....teams are not allowed to decrease their salary when the MLB contract is given...so if a player signed a 5 yr 2minor league contract....if they are called up in year 2...it would be 2M, 2M, 2M, 2.25M
