If no one else puts in a claim, I don't see why Gronk would trade me a player for someone he already basically owns.

BTW. That sounds like a great way to get around the trade deadline. Say me and Gronk want to make a trade. I put a player on waivers, he puts in a claim, we make the trade. Even if someone else puts in a claim, I could always rescind and we could try again with Gronk putting his player on waivers.

And yes...you can try to trade with the winning team...but if they say no...you have to let the player go since you have already rescinded your waiver once
