If you have a rule in mind you would like for us to consider, please post it here.
If you want to see a rule changed, also post it here.

Will you be copying the ideas from the old Fantrax forum?

I know Turtles has talked about expanding the amount of players on the DL so I thought of this as an option. We go to a 40-man roster like in real life. You have to fill a complete 25 man active roster and then get 15 additional spots for DL players or players waived to the minors that have MLB contracts. Then we would also have the regular minors for players with no contracts or with minor league deals. Just an idea as I know some people have expressed interest in having to have a complete roster. This would open up roster space.

SCREAMIN I would like to see this either added to the rules outright...or voted upon. Though really...should not need a vote.
Each team is required to carry 25 players on the active roster. Carrying less should make the roster illegal.
Each team should be required to field a complete team. Meaning no team may start a player on the DL or leave a spot "open".

A change to the buyout rules...kind of...
I propose one of two ideas...
OPTION 1
RETURN to the way the rule was written. If you buy a player out after a certain date the buyout amount goes toward next year. It does NOT also count toward the current year. In order to prevent owners from turning around and resigning them cheap...any player bought out after this date will be ineligible to be signed until the follwoing season's auction.
Why? Because if you are buying a player out you should not be penalized by paying the full salary over he course of two seasons. As the reul was recently REWRITTEN there is no buyout...you are just sptreading tthe remaining salary out over two years.
OPTION 2
Do not allow any buyouts after a certain date (the same date used here would also be used if Option 1 were chosen).

I vote that any owner who talks about how great the SEC is should lose a draft pick.
